Sip & Savour
Mirador Tinto (Rioja, Spain)
Red wine.
This wine shows the full fruit of the tempranillo grape with the strawberry style aftertaste. This wine also contains 15% of the crianza to give it fuller flavour.
Santa Ema Merlot (Maipo Valley, Chile)
Red wine.
Intense, ruby red with flavours of plums and cherries.
Parcelles 38, Vignobles Jerome Quiot (France)
Red wine.
A blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre, this is serious Côtes du Rhône, being full flavoured and having the structure to support the ample fruit. Delicious now but will improve over the next 2 years.
Verdicchio la Vele Dei Castelli di Jesi Moncaro (Italy)
White wine.
Fragrant nose on this well made Italian white, smooth with a well balanced finish.
Navajas Tinto Crianza (Rioja, Spain)
Red wine.
A Crianza which is set apart from the others by the amount of bottle age before release. The combination of fruit and vanilla is very smooth and as good as some Rioja reserves.
Zenato Valpolicella Classico Superiore (Italy)
This family have been making wines for more than 100 years and have built up an enviable reputation for quality. Recently voted one of the top 100 wine producers in the world. This wine shows how Valpolicella should be made with a depth of character and body which will surprise you.
Amplus Sauvignon Blanc, Santa Ema (Maipo Valley, Chile)
White wine.
A particularly fresh style of Sauvignon which retains all of the aromatic green flavours but has a lick of fresh minerals through it. This wine has more weight than you would expect from a Sauvignon but is still elegant and crisp on the finish.
